Austin Dobbs is an Emergency Preparedness Manager at the University of Georgia’s (UGA) Institute for Disaster Management. He received his Bachelors and Masters from the University of Georgia. His Masters was in Political Science and International Affairs with a Graduate Certificate in Disaster Management. Along with numerous certifications from the field of emergency management.
In his role, Austin assists in the project management of the VSE Program and provides logistical support to team members and partners.
Austin loves to get outside and hike or play sports with friends and family. He’s also had a poem published.
